Julie Meline brings a wealth of expertise with over 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, project management, and fund development. Her journey began at California’s Department of Public Health, where she served as an analyst specializing in Resource and Operations Management. Following this pivotal role, Julie went on to oversee daily operations at a business and tax law firm, and later, she worked as an auditor for a third-party union benefits administrator.

During her tenure interacting with union members and local communities, Julie discovered a profound motivation to drive positive change in her community, with a particular focus on wellness and workforce development. This passion ignited the creation of one of the nation’s largest inner-city youth beach volleyball programs, where Julie dedicated herself to the role of Executive Director for an impressive five years. Under her guidance, she not only crafted but also executed a championship-level volleyball program, entirely free for underprivileged inner-city youth. Her unwavering commitment included a strong emphasis on providing employment opportunities and mentorship for underserved groups. Through strategic partnerships and a dynamic fund development strategy, Julie transformed this vision into a thriving 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that continues to flourish

In her most recent endeavors, Julie took on the responsibility of overseeing grants for Northern California’s two largest senior-serving community organizations, as well as a well-established culinary school in Southern California. Her exceptional skills in securing crucial funding and navigating complex grant processes have consistently contributed to the success and sustainability of these organizations.

Julic’s qualifications extend beyond her extensive practical experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, complemented by a Master’s degree in Sports Management and Administration. Furthermore, she has earned certificates in Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace. Julie’s dedication to community improvement is not confined to her professional life; she actively serves on multiple nonprofit boards. Her current projects span a diverse range of initiatives, including health and wellness, veteran support, foster and adopted youth, rural development, environmental causes, and political nomprofit organizations.
