In her role she is focused on large initiatives including acquisitions, market expansions, and business reviews. She is also responsible for creating the quarterly updates to regulators and the Board of Directors. Prior to her current position Alina lived in Pittsburgh and worked in Corporate Human Resources with a focus in Compensation. While in Pittsburgh Alina served on the Board of Directors at Ursuline Support Services, was on the Walk Committee for Autism Speaks and was an active volunteer at the Highmark Caring Place. She currently sits on the junior board for CASA-NYC. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
Alina grew up in a large family with her Grandfather’s piano playing at the center of every gathering. Although she didn’t inherit his piano playing skills, music was core to her upbringing. Today she still credits theater and choir as the fundamental activities that provided her with the skills and confidence she carries today. While performing ended for her years ago, her love and admiration for music has continued. Alina is thrilled to join the Anselmo Academy’s Board of Directors as the Academy continues to provide the gift of music across the New York area.
