Benito is an accomplished strategy and operations executive, with track record of bottom line improvements across industries. Currently, Benito is the Chief Operating Officer at Lakeview Loan Servicing’s origination group, where he oversees loan fulfillment across two channels, to not only drive profitability and great customer service, but also increase efficiencies leveraging technology.

Prior to Lakeview, Benito spent time at Better Mortgage during the “mortgage boom” of 2020-2021 as a Sr. Director of Ops Strategy, where he led multiple strategic efforts to help the business grow and operate more efficiently. In prior years, he worked for a number of companies in roles at the intersection of strategy and operations, to help them transform their business. This includes a 4-year stint at McKinsey & Company, where specialized in large scale transformations across industries, but spending most of his time in High Tech, Automotive and Utilities/Energy.

Outside of work Benito is a member of Forbe’s Business Council where he contributes with content related to operations and management. He also enjoys playing music (drums), playing basketball, but more importantly, spending time with his family.

Benito holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
