Chris Sacco is an active saxophone performer and teacher based in New York City. He enjoys making music as a soloist and ensemble player. Chris is a member of Singularity saxophone quartet and has appeared with the Princeton Festival Orchestra, Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, and the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra. Throughout the past eight years, Chris has taught private lessons and masterclasses to students of all ages in New York, Florida, Michigan, and Arizona. He is confident in the philosophy that the study of music develops student’s practical skills such as physical coordination, memory, teamwork, and focus while also building their self-esteem and emotional intelligence. Chris holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Performance from Arizona State University, a Master of Music in Music Performance from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia. When not playing or teaching saxophone, he enjoys exploring hiking trails, participating in action sports, exercising, and spending time with loved ones.
