Empowering Students Through the Joy of Music and the Arts



Mr. Sahar has been teaching piano to children and young adults since 2012. He has prepared students for numerous recitals and New York State Music Association piano exams as well as entry to competitive music high schools. In addition to teach piano, he is organist at the historic St. James Episcopal Church in Elmhurst, Queens and an active composer with works performed in the United States and Europe.  

Mr. Sahar holds a B.A from Oberlin College and a M.M. from Queens College/City University of New York with additional studies under Conrad Cumming, composer and educator, at Juilliard’s Evening Division.  He has studied organ with Rick Erickson at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Manhattan, earned a Special Service Playing Certificate from the American Guild of Organists.
