Karine is a dedicated music teacher with over 30 years of piano teaching experience to children of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds. Karine’s students have won multiple awards (in solo and duet categories) and have had appearances at Carnegie Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center as international prize winners. They have also participated in private masterclasses with composers, performing their own works.

In addition to piano, she also offers music theory, ear training and rhythmic training classes both in private and in groups.

Karine has won numerous awards and competitions, and has performed internationally in the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. She has a live recording of piano solo works by Haydn, Brahms, Chopin and Debussy and has appeared on WQXR in a live broadcasting of chamber music from Mannes College of Music, in New York.
She has currently completed a graduate certificate program in injury preventive technique for pianists. Karine is also a Visual Artist and has diverse interests, including in photography, writing, Tai Chi, Alexander Technique and Yoga.
