KEN A. TASHIRO
Ken is an accomplished financial services professional with a track record across private equity, corporate and investment banking, FinTech, InsurTech, and insurance. Ken is currently a Vice President in the Corporate Banking Financial Institutions Group at TD Securities.
Prior to TD Securities, Ken led corporate development efforts at ACORD, the global standards-setting body for the insurance and related financial services industries. He also worked at the private equity fund BC Partners, as well as the investment bank Greenhill & Co. Ken holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. As a native of Tokyo and alumnus of the German School of Tokyo Yokohama, Ken is also fluent in Japanese and German, and has developed his global professional career having worked in Tokyo, London, and New York.
Growing up, Ken developed an early passion for music, playing guitar in numerous bands, as well as teaching music to children.
