Kotaro is Brooklyn based guitarist and composer, originally from Osaka, Japan. He moved to the US to attend college in Missouri 2012 and moved to New York City in 2014. He graduated City College of New York with Bachelor of Arts.

His music style mixes elements of rock music with the essence of different types of genres. He started to play classical piano as his first instrument when he was 3 years old and he started to learn guitar when he was 14 years old, and eventually guitar became his primary instrument. 

He studied music theory in the college that became his foundation of his composition. As composer he has written pieces for dance project, podcasts, radio program and collaboration projects.
