Eduardo Rodriguez is a musician form Veracruz, Mexico. He started his professional studies in music in UDLAP where he was student of the Cuban classical guitarist Manuel Espinás and taking several courses with the North American composer Brian Banks. He started his career as a music educator in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico where he opened his school of musical training “Do Mi Sol” in 2010. After Almost 4 years of this project he left Mexico to go to Maceió, Brazil to volunteer as a music teacher in “The legion of good will” (Legiao da Boa Vontade) in 2014. In 2015 he is back in Mexico and was able to direct two international festivals of music in Puebla. Is then when Eduardo started his studies in Jazz. In 2017 he comes for the first time to New York to take lessons with the notable guitarist and educator Steve Cardenas. Back in Mexico in 2018 he realized a tour with a band formed in NYC formed by Alfredo Colon in the Alto Sax, Evan Ryan in the bass, Alonso Umaña Chang in the drums and Roberto Martinez from Mexico City. At the end of the year he moved permanently to NYC to continue his career as a professional musician and educator.

In the present he is working with the legendary master drummer Michael Carvin to record his debut album as a band leader and at the same time is making conterpoint studies with the great German composer Alexander Liebermann.

Eduardo also did studies in “Latin” in Rome Italy in the renowned academy “Vivarium Novum” under the tutelage of Luigi Miraglia and studies in music business in the SAE institute (Mexico).
