LINDA CALANDRA
Linda Calandra is Director, Strategic Alliances and Engagement at the American Medical Women’s Association. Linda has a very diverse background in healthcare and the global pharmaceutical industry, including Pfizer, Takeda, and Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany. Her successful career has included roles in marketing, relationship management, patient advocacy, public affairs, and communications. Linda has led successful partnerships with a variety of organizations, while navigating competing priorities, complex ways of working, and many more challenges to help better serve those with unmet needs and other stakeholders.
Linda has also devoted time and expertise to a variety of mission-based organizations, such as Social Ventures Partners in Boston. As part of a cross functional team, Linda provided strategic planning to increase fundraising capabilities, with an Integrated Communication Plan for Strategies for Youth, an organization dedicated to improving interactions between youth/police with education and training.She developed a strategic integrated comms plan for Leadership Brainery, dedicated to eliminating systemic barriers to education with the creation of inclusive communities. Linda has worked with several nonprofits in partner cultivation, content creation, impactful messaging, and fundraising. In addition, Linda has been a member of several performing arts nonprofit Board of Directors, such as Helicon and the Brooklyn Philharmonic, and recently worked in development and fundraising at the Orchestra of St. Luke’s in New York City.
