Ms. Gayles discovered the love for music and the joy of singing at a young age becoming a gifted singer and experienced performer.

Subsequent studies led her to Westminster Choir College at Ryder University and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Montclair State University. 

Ms. Gayles teaches beginner to advanced vocal students, as well as beginner to intermediate piano students. She has worked with students of all ages, helping them master their voices or achieving their skill on piano. Ms. Gayles  has taught in various musical genres ranging from classical, musical theatre, and folk songs.  

For singers, Ms. Gayles focuses on teaching students how to find their own vibrant and free tone, while emphasizing breath support and control, as well as ear training and musicality. 

For piano students, she sets a framework for a strong foundation in the basics in music theory, ear training and repertoire.
