MR. DANIEL

Manager, Queens and Long Island; Piano

Born in São Bernardo do Campo (SP, Brazil), Daniel began his music studies at age twelve. At age nineteen he started his piano studies at Fundação das Artes (Arts Foundation) in the city of São Caetano do Sul, under the orientation of the pianist Claudio Tegg. He has participated in several music festivals in Brazil and the USA, including the International Piano Festival of Piracicaba (2018); International Piano Festival of Vale do Aço (2018). In 2016, at Curto Circuito (Contemporary Music Meeting held by EMESP) he had his work Respirateur premiered by Roger Admiral, a pianist and music teacher at Alberta University – Canada. Additionally, he served as the coordinator and music teacher of a nonprofit called Instituto Grãode Areia (Grain of Sand Institute) that offers free music classes for children in São Paulo City.

Upon moving to the USA in 2018, Mr. Rofer participated in the Oregon Piano – Summer Music Festival, at Oregon University under the direction of Alexandre Dossin. As a performer of contemporary and ethnic music, Mr. Rofer has played at Musik Fest 2019 (Bethlehem PA) and the 2019 Newark Porch Music Fest. Currently, Mr. Rofer is researching piano pedagogy and teaching piano lessons at his studio in Newark NJ, and his students have been performing at piano competitions and recitals around New Jersey and New York.

Daniel has also released a piano album called “Strange Land”, this album contains a selection of fifteen solo piano pieces, that are dedicated to children or beginners in general, those pieces also can be adapted to Toy Piano.
