PHYL ANN SANTO

Piano, Theater & Acting

Phyl Ann Santo is an accomplished musician with decades of experience in teaching piano, organ, and musical theatre.

As Director of the Theatre Arts Program at Our Lady of Sorrows School in White Plains, N.Y., she has produced and directed more than 19 musicals. Throughout her career, Ms. Santo has collaborated with numerous theatre groups across Westchester County and has taught private students who have gone on to perform on Broadway. In addition, she is the Director of Music for Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, where she serves as organist, cantor, and choral director for both the adult’s and children’s choirs.

Ms. Santo holds a BS in Music Education from Manhattanville College, where she studied organ and piano with Dr. Jean Thiel and earned a Master of Arts in Music Theory and History. She is a published composer and poet, and a member of the American Guild of Organists.
