Wayne Hu began his musical journey as a pianist in his youth. During high school, he also started playing trombone and guitar and continued both instruments into college and finished with a Bachelor of Music in vocal pedagogy from The College of New Jersey. After graduation, Wayne maintained a vocal studio of about a dozen students for two years before pursuing a Master of Music in vocal performance from Indiana University. Since then, he has performed on the mainstage of over 30 professional opera and theatre productions across the country and is currently a voice, piano and guitar teacher and accompanist in north Jersey as well as music director at Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church in Totenville, NY.
