Aditi Malhotra is a vocalist, composer and educator originally from New Delhi, India, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. With an early background in Hindustani Classical Music, and later influences spanning Jazz, Soul and Brazilian music, she has performed at notable venues such as the NCPA Mumbai, Kennedy Center Washington DC, Panama Jazz Festival, and Festival da Jazz, Switzerland. She received a full-tuition scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music, and completed her Masters in Music at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in 2024, under the mentorship of Danilo Pérez, Terri Lyne Carrington, and John Patitucci. She has been a recipient of the 2021, 2025 and 2026 ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Awards, and was part of the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency 2022 led by Jason Moran.
Aditi’s teaching experience spans over 6 years, teaching private voice and piano lessons, and group classes at schools in Boston and in different parts of India. She hopes for her students to develop a strong foundational understanding of music, to allow them the freedom to take on any musical situation.
