AVIVA ARANOVICH
The New York Times described Ms. Aranovich’s New York debut recital as “remarkable in passion and energy”. A native of Vilnius Lithuania, Ms. Aranovich started her musical education with her mother at the Curlions School of Music for gifted children in Vilnius. She performed on Lithuanian TV at the age of 7 and toured the country.
Ms. Aranovich immigrated to Israel with her family where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Tel Aviv University at the age of 19 and was a recipient of AmericaIsrael Cultural foundation scholarships for twelve consecutive years. She came to NY to study as a full scholarship piano Student for her Master’s degree with Serkin at the Juilliard School of Music in NY.
Ms. Aranovich is a winner of several International Piano Competitions such as Vercelli in Italy, Santander in Spain, Music International New York, New Orleans International Piano Competition etc.
Ms. Aranovich has toured with solo recitals and with orchestras extensively in Europe, US, Canada and Israel and performed in Venues such as Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Ford Center in Toronto, Lincoln Center in New York. She performed in festivals in Ravinia, SchlezwigHolstein, International Keyboard Institute in NYC, and had live broadcasts on many radio stations around the world.As of fall 2015, Ms. Aranovich was invited to host a Radio Show in Berlin “Music Matters” and traveling extensively performing in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Berlin and New York and will be on a Tour with Ukrainian Chamber Ensemble and Berliner Symphoniker in 2016/2017 season. Ms. Aranovich is sought after teacher and was on the faculty at Touro College in NY, Dalcroze School of Music in NY and gives master classes regularly around the world.
