Justin is an experienced financial services professional with expertise in operational risk management, project management and process efficiency improvement. Justin is currently an Operational Risk Officer Vice President at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank in Midtown Manhattan. In his role, Justin is responsible for overseeing the Monthly Operational Risk Committee and escalating key material risks to the 1st and 2nd Line of Defense. Prior to joining Société Générale, Justin helped establish and implement the Business Process Improvement (BPI) Office at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Justin is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia & Western Illinois University, where he holds a Bachelors in Personal Financial Management & a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Justin’s work has been recognized & published by both The North American Society for Sport Sociology & The Internal Association for the Philosophy of Sport. In addition, Justin holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (LSSGB) and is an active member of the Toastmasters International Club and the National Black MBA Association.

Growing up, Justin took an early interest in music and participated in youth and concert choir. Today, Justin loves attending live musical performances and singing along to his favorite rhythm and blues songs. Justin is delighted to join the Board of Directors and is committed to the Academy’s mission of empowering all students through music and art education.
