DR. LEROY NICKLES
Dr. Leroy Nickles, MD, MBA, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician that is a native of Baltimore, MD. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University in 1998, and in 2002, he earned his Medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Dr. Nickles then completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at York Hospital/Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center in 2005. . Intrigued by the complexities of the Affordable Care Act, Dr. Nickles decided to enhance his business acumen and leadership abilities by enrolling in New York University Stern School of Business Executive Master’s Business of Administration Program (MBA). In 2013 he earned a MBA with a concentration in corporate finance and management.
Dr. Nickles is now employed by Team Health, a privately held national contract management organization for various disciplines of hospital-based medicine. He leads the strategic direction of numerous Emergency Departments and Hospital Medicine Programs throughout the northeast region of the country. As a healthcare leader focused on achieving organizational objectives, he manages multi-million dollar budgets and analyze financial reports, ensuring alignment between expected and actual organizational costs.
Equally as important and demanding as his career, Dr. Nickles is married and a proud and involved father of three children. During his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and socializing with friends and family.
