VIRGINIE GOUT ZSCHABITZ
Virginie Gout-Zschäbitz started learning the harp at the age of ten in Bordeaux, France, and later in Conservatoire in Marseille, Versailles and Nantes where she met Isabelle Perrin who was an inspiration for her . In 1989, Virginie went to the Juilliard School with Nancy Allen. After graduating in 1993, she went back to Europe and took private lesson with Marie Pierre Langlamet (principal harpist of the Berlin Philharmonie). Since 1995 , Virginie is the principal harpist at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, in Germany, lives in Berlin, appears as a soloist and chamber music musician through Europe.
