Kathy Pucci is excited to join the Anselmo Academy for the 2024 season.  Kathy hails from Buffalo NY where she trained as a child at the American Academy of Ballet. She studied Modern Dance at the American Dance Festival at Duke University in North Carolina. In college she was a member of L’Image de Ballet Jazz Dance in Miami, Florida while earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications Florida International University. 

As the former Director of the Pucci Performing Arts Centre in Livingston, a school she founded, she and the PPAC competitive dance team were active in the community offering performances for surrounding town events, festivals, and local senior living communities.  

She performed as a soloist and ensemble with Chautauqua Festival Ballet Company, Miami Momentum, Buffalo Ballet Theatre and Ballet Hispanico of New York. 

She was a lead dancer, dance captain, and adagio soloist at Les Violins in Miami and was awarded the title of Best Female Soloist in a musical revue for her performance in Frankie Kein’s “One Of A Kind” show by the Association Of Critics & Commentaries of the Arts, Miami FL.  She traveled to Mexico City and Cancun Mexico with the Frankie Kein Show and then to San Juan, Puerto Rico with the Revue Show, Caliente Caliente at the Sands Hotel and Casino.  She subsequently toured Europe with Golden Musicals of Broadway.  

After six years of working as a Dancer Choreographer for Chezzam Entertainment, she started her own Event Company, Pucci Productions in 1996 producing shows for Corporate Events, Fund Raisers, and Hotel/Casinos in Atlantic City, NJ and Connecticut.  

Kathy has taught children of all ages for over 25 years and has worked as a Judge for Dance and Theater Competitions for over 20 years.  She has been on the faculty at the University of Miami, Chautauqua Institution, and Broadway Dance Center. Kathy coached the Kushner Academy High School Dance Team for 6 years bringing them to win 1st place for the first time.

She is a member of the Associated Dance Teachers of NJ (ADTNJ) and Dance NJ.  She has a certification from ADTNJ in Ballet Technique.  She is also proficient in Jazz, Musical Theater and Tap.
