Leo graduated in 2020 from Berklee College of Music with a performance degree. He is also interested in composition and education. While in Boston he composed music for various short film directors and played with different bands in the Boston area. In 2019 he had an eye opening experience working as the music teacher for the Immigrant Family Services Institute in Boston. Since finishing school Leo has performed in the Burlington Vermont area and taught piano and trumpet with the Burlington music dojo for three years. Since moving to New Jersey two years ago he has had the opportunity to open his world up as a composition and harmony teacher, instrumental teacher and educator to students of a broader background. Leo’s teaching philosophy is centered around fusing love and enjoyment for the instrument with focus and work ethic, supplementing his students’ creativity and ability with the music theory that helps them best.
