With an innate unique musical sensibility and innovative approach, 19 years old Chinese pianist Victor Yuanhan Lu has impressed many leading musicians such as Gautier Capuçon, Momo Kodama, Angela Hewitt for his special talents especially in J.S.Bach’s music. 

As the Laureate of Fondation Gautier Capuçon, Lu has appeared in the major concert venues as the Schloss Elmau, Jordan Hall and Williams Hall in Boston, Club Monteverdi in Madrid ,HMT Leipzig’s Great Hall, C. Bechstein VielHarmonie in Seifhennersdorf. He appears regularly in solo and chamber music recitals in Europe and Asia

He is selected for many Prestigious events including 2024 Verbier Festival Soloist program, IMS Prussia Cove, Morningside Music Bridge in Boston.

At the age of 17, His appearances in Leipzig J.S.Bach Competition and Concours de Genève received attention from the Jury by his personal style.

Born in Chengdu, China.

Starting piano lessons at the age of six, Lu studied piano with Professor Yang Yang at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music from the age of 12. Entering The Tianjin Juilliard School at 15, and then Moved to Germany to study with 

 Florian Uhlig in Music Academy of Lübeck at 16. He is currently studying at the University for Music, Theater and Media Hannover with Professor Alexander Schimpf. 

He has also attended numerous master classes with prestigious pianists, including Kirill Gerstein, Arie Vardi, Michel Beroff, Hung-Kuan Chen, Vladimir Viardo and Gerrit Zitterbart. 

Victor’s musical exploration includes not only piano. He also explored the world of music through percussion, accordion and cello. At the age of 13, he began studying cello as a second major with Professor Fan Zhang and has participated in numerous concerts and competitions.
