Siobhan Lowe is a musician and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. She plays the double bass and electric bass, and is also a singer. She grew up performing as a double bassist in orchestras throughout high school, including the Great Westchester Youth Orchestra Association (GWYOA), and performed at Lincoln Center on three occasions. She continued her musical journey at Skidmore College, where she played in the orchestra and sang with the a cappella group, the Skidmore Sonneteers, and currently releases her own music on streaming platforms.

Alongside her work as a musician, she is an arts and culture writer, covering music and creative communities with a focus on storytelling that highlights artists’ processes, inspirations, and community. She is excited to join the Anselmo Academy team and share her passion for music, writing, and creative education with the community.
